Concentric Coaster

To make these punchy red coasters, we start by painting a maple board and then routing intersecting sets of concentric circles into the surface. We then cut the board into squares, resulting in random and unpredictable patterns. No two coasters are alike. When purchased as a set, the four coasters fit together as a simple puzzle to create a larger overall pattern.
